Spinach

We have joined a produce co-op called Bountiful Baskets. We get a huge basket full of fruit and vegetables every two weeks for only $15. So we have been trying out some new vegetables that we don't normally eat. This week we got spinach so Allison found a recipe for a Pasta with sausage, tomatoes, spinach and mozzarella cheese. She did a great job cooking it but none of us really liked it too well. We didn't really like the cooked spinach. I've never been a fan of soggy spinach. But we ate it anyway. Good thing we had garlic bread to go with it; something everyone likes. That's one recipe we won't try again. But we still have some spinach left so we need to find another recipe that uses spinach and see how it turns out. Greg wants to try a spinach dip. Most of the other things we got in the basket have been great. We had fresh pineapple, cantaloupe and peaches for dessert. Of course we like the fruit better than the veggies!
